Pretzel Bakery Lives Wholesome with a Twist with New Natural Nuggets Campaign and Life-Sized Pretzel Mascot

Lancaster, Pa., April 26, 2011 – H.K. Anderson Pretzel today declared April 26th the first Natural Pretzel Day in Lancaster, Pa., the birthplace of one of America’s favorite snacks, and committed to use only all-natural ingredients in its popular pretzel snack line. The announcement is supported by Pennsylvania Representative Mike Sturla-D and former Representative Robert Walker-R, the original founder of National Pretzel Day, which historically falls on the same day.

"By going all-natural, we’re able to provide a tasty and satisfying snack while underscoring our commitment to our customers’ overall health. Our all-natural products do not contain any hydrogenated oils, artificial flavors or colors," said Steve Robinson, Director of Business Development at H.K. Anderson. H.K. Anderson is coining these small acts "Natural Nuggets of Wisdom," which can range from writing an old-fashioned thank you note to high-fiving a stranger.
